Testing New Twitter Plugin
Why? Because Twitter Tools decided to stop working. I started receiving error messages like:
Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter: This method requires authentication
I followed all the instructions on Ian Devlin’s website but it didn’t help. Granted, his suggestions were for an older version of wordpress but I hate when sh1t stops working and was ready to try anything.
I also tried the WP to Twitter plugin.. The message alluded to some server shortcoming
So now I am trying TwitCategory.
We’ll see what happens…
Didn’t work.
hmmm….
Oh, Wait. It’s a Mercury Retrograde!
UPDATE: SIgned up for Twitterfeed

Sorry to hear that nothing on my blog post helped. It seems that a lot of people have been having issues with this.
Since I fixed it using the method I described, it’s all been working fine over the various Wordpress upgrades.
Not sure what else to suggest :-/

i gave up. i finally had to sign up for twitterfeed to fix this. not really happy about it cause i liked Twitter tools.
Shame to hear that.
It seems to have buggered up your website somewhat. Going to many of your pages via the navigation bar now results in:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_tweet_link() …..
