EtsyCMS: Wordpress Theme for Etsy Sellers

I recently joined the talented flock of artists selling their goods through Etsy and became familiar with the process of listing and promoting their products. Blogging is one of the most important things.

There are 3 things all Etsy sellers want on their blogs:

1. To promote the products in your shop. Of course this makes sense, but most Etsy sellers devote too little of their blog real estate to their own shop. Plus, who wants to update your blog with your new products when, in fact, updating your own Etsy shop.
2. To accommodate Entrecard, Artshout Exchange, Adgitize, and CMF ads. These  ad sharing services will drive traffic to your site and hopefully to your etsy shop. Entrecard can be difficult since they will not accept your site if they think its all about selling. What most people do is blog for  awhile (until accepted) then shift the content. 3. To link to their fellow Etsy sellers. This is a great way to crosspollinate traffic with your friends and maybe even increase your pagerank.

• Auto-thumbnailing: the theme is coded to grab the first image of a post and create a thumbnail for the front page.
• Etsy CMS Wordpress theme will create a post based on the excerpt of your etsy listing and use the attached image as the post thumbnail. It will process the first image in the feed post as a thumbnail.
• Etsy CMS Wordpress theme will automatically create a BUY button at the bottom of all posts based on the contents of your Etsy shoppe, then link this BUY button at the end of the post based on a listing to the corresponding listing in your etsy shoppe
