I followed all the instructions on Ian Devlin’s website but it didn’t help. Granted, his suggestions were for an older version of wordpress but I hate when sh1t stops working and was ready to try anything.

I also tried the WP to Twitter plugin.. The message alluded to some server shortcoming

So now I am trying TwitCategory.

We’ll see what happens…

There are 3 things all Etsy sellers want on their blogs:

1. To promote the products in your shop. Of course this makes sense, but most Etsy sellers devote too little of their blog real estate to their own shop. Plus, who wants to update your blog with your new products when, in fact, updating your own Etsy shop.
2. To accommodate Entrecard, Artshout Exchange, Adgitize, and CMF ads. These  ad sharing services will drive traffic to your site and hopefully to your etsy shop. Entrecard can be difficult since they will not accept your site if they think its all about selling. What most people do is blog for  awhile (until accepted) then shift the content. Makes for a lot of spammish sites. (BTW, if you haven’t joined Artshout you are missing out on the best Art-oriented ad-sharing on the web.)
3. To link to their fellow Etsy sellers. This is a great way to crosspollinate traffic with your friends and maybe even increase your pagerank.
